1. Who we are
This policy describes how SOFTEAM CONSULTING, S.A.S. ("SOFTEAM CONSULTING", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. Waygrid is a brand operated by SOFTEAM CONSULTING, a company incorporated in France. For personal data collected through this site, SOFTEAM CONSULTING, S.A.S. is the data controller (responsable de traitement) within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our full legal identification is set out in our mentions légales.
This policy covers this website only. Data processed through the Waygrid platform on behalf of our customers is governed by our Data Processing Agreement and the applicable customer agreement, under which the customer is the controller and Waygrid is a processor.
2. Information we collect
We collect:
- Information you provide — such as your name, business email address, company, role, and the content of your message when you fill in a contact or demo request form, subscribe to updates, or use the chat widget.
- Information collected automatically — such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected through server logs and, where you have consented, analytics and marketing cookies.
We do not intend to collect sensitive categories of personal data through this site, and we ask that you do not submit them.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- respond to your inquiries and demo requests (performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request);
- operate, secure, and maintain the site, including detecting and preventing abuse (our legitimate interests);
- understand how the site is used and improve it, and deliver and measure relevant marketing, where you have given consent to the corresponding cookies (consent);
- send you product and company updates you have subscribed to, which you can opt out of at any time (consent); and
- comply with legal obligations that apply to us.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work, and analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent. You can accept, reject, or adjust non-essential cookies when you first visit the site, and change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. See our cookie policy for details.
5. How we share your data
We share personal data with:
- service providers who process data on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer relationship management, and email providers, under contracts that restrict their use of the data;
- professional advisers, and public authorities where required by law; and
- a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Personal data may be transferred to service providers located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where we do so, we rely on safeguards recognized under the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: inquiry and prospect records for the duration of our exchange and a reasonable period afterwards, marketing subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and server logs for a limited security retention period, unless a longer period is required by law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority or with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés).
9. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organizational measures consistent with the practices described in our Trust Center, including encryption in transit and at rest and least-privilege access controls.
10. Children
This site is intended for business audiences and not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date, and we will provide additional notice where required by law.
